Why do I need policies?

In today’s modern work environment HR policies are often thought of as anomalous and unnecessary. However, having clear and robust policies and procedures is good practice and will help your employees to understand what is expected of them and what they can expect to get in return. It will also communicate your commitment to dealing with any issues fairly and consistently and will assist you in your defence in the event of a tribunal case.
